At this point, Lab Diamonds' pricing is logical, in a sense.
Mined diamonds have a different set of logic. An earth born D VS1 is priced roughly equivalent to a Fancy Intense Yellow VS1, all other aspects being equal (shape, quality of cut, etc).
In lab diamonds, the technology, and motivation required to produce realistic looking yellow diamonds means D color Ovals are far more common than Fancy Intense Yellow ones.
Especially realistic looking ones, like this one.
It has an in your face, canary yellow brilliance. I'd say GIA would give it Fancy Intense Yellow. It's close to Vivid.
Oval Modified Brilliant, meaning there's zero bowtie. An even crushed iced canary bucket of sparkle.
Lovely 1.38:1 ratio. Looks very nice for a 2.20ct in terms of size. Halo, three stone ring?
