2.29ct Cushion Cut Ruby Ring
Rubies are red, violets are blue - this stone is AMAZING, and if you see it in person you'll know that too!
Talk about red, boy is this stone red. It is amazing in terms of color. As you can see in the comparison pictures, put it next to another ruby - also quite a nice stone - and you get a better idea of how red this ruby is.

The stone has remarkable brilliance. Total crystal. I love the shape. The cut is very nice because the stone looks far larger than it's 2.29ct weight.
The stone comes with a GRS lab report. We are vocal supporters of GIA, but in the case of stones like this GRS actually has a stronger international reputation.
The "H" rating is extremely desirable. It means that there are NO fillings whatsoever in the stone. The stone was heated during the cutting process, but that is truly not a big deal compared to the filling commonly found in rubies. Sometimes stones are actually filled with glass. The fact this Ruby has no filling whatsoever is a BIG deal.
The origin is Thailand (Siam) If the origin was Burma, the stone would instantly double in value. So we have a rare stone. well priced and extremely desirable.

The Ring
Rubies are very difficult to photograph- including this one.
The cutter did an amazing job with this rock. The light performance shows a lot of sparkle on the crown - the table shows a deep red. There's a transparency visible in the pictures. This is caused by the bright lighting we use for the macro photography. IN normal room lighting that aspect is not an issue because the stone has deep color in the middle. The sparkle emanating from the crown gives you flashes of red that reflect all through the stone. I can tell you that if you like the pictures, you're going to LOVE this rig in person.
Uber Ring
What is "Uber Ring"?
1) Attention to detail, in design and execution
2) Setters, Jewelers, and Polishers that can compete with the finest craftsmen anywhere.
That's how we produce a durable ring with a 1.7mm shank. I mean, you want to take a bit of extra care of this ring. You can wear it daily. You probably wouldn't want to wear it rock climbing. This shank contrasts the generous sized top of the ring- 11.4 x 10.4mm.

Perfectly placed claws in 18ct Yellow gold grasp your precious Ruby securely.
The resultant ring showcases this stones' personality in the ultimate manner- and totally brings out the beauty.
