We want you to be satisfied with your Diamonds by Lauren purchase. So you may return your purchase for a refund or exchange if you are unsatisfied for any reason. Shipping charges are non refundable. Special orders and custom-made items are not returnable.

You are responsible for the item once you sign for it, till we sign for it. We can not accept items that have been altered or damaged. You must call us to obtain a return authorization PRIOR to shipping the item back to us. No packages will be accepted without a return authorization. This is important as we will also be giving you specific shipping instructions for your protection. If you have questions regarding this policy, simply ask us about it.

LIFETIME TRADE UP POLICY

We may accept a diamond you purchased from us back for a trade up, at the price you paid, against a new purchase from our in-stock inventory. Special Orders are not eligible. The new item must be at least two times your original purchase price. If you purchased your ring from our extensive selection of in stock rings, and it is in good condition, we accept both your ring, and diamonds for a trade. If we are custom making a ring for you, only the center diamond will be eligible for a subsequent trade up. Chipped stones, Custom-made rings, or those showing excessive wear will not qualify for trade up. Only one item may be traded up at a time. Trade up is available for most rings and earrings. If trading up is something you might consider, please check with us at the time of purchase to make sure your item qualifies.

Very few companies offer trade up-and even fewer have a policy like ours. Our trade up policy shows you our commitment to our merchandise

LAYAWAY TERMS

A 50% deposit is required to initiate a layaway- the balance must be cleared within 6 months. We require at least 1/6 of the balance every month. Should you cancel, or request a refund at any time, a re-stock fee equal to 10% of the entire purchase will be charged.

CONSIGNMENT SALES POLICY

For those who wish to sell their Diamonds by Lauren items outright, we will consider consignment sales. In these cases, we will make sure the item is in like new condition- then stock it in our store. We will offer the new buyer trade up and all our normal services. Upon the confirmed sale we immediately pay you 50% of the sale price.
We can usually list for at least at the price originally paid- higher, if it's a diamond over 1.00 carats- especially that you've had for a while.

If you have a diamond with a GIA report you're interested in selling on consignment, please call us- the same terms as above will apply.

GIA does not endorse or certify any diamond or seller. If the term GIA Certified, or GIA Certificate appears in an auction on on our website, it is NOT meant to imply that GIA endorses any diamond OR diamond seller in any way.

We sell only natural diamonds. NONE of our diamonds have been treated, irradiated, fracture filled, clarity or color enhanced in any way.
