There's a long story to go with these amazing earrings.

They were made to match a ring we did for a very dear client of ours. Their brother had cut the opals.

In the manufacturing of the earrings, we had a situation crop up. One of the stones was slightly damaged.

Our guys, thinking they were doing the right thing, had the stone repaired. Slightly altering it's appearance. More about exactly how slightly in a moment.

When we saw the earrings we were blown away. They're truly spectacular. When our cherished client saw them - she noticed something was different.

We're all human - and make mistakes - the doozy of this mistake was the bench not telling us about the repair. Needless to say, some serious discussion was had with our people.

We'll make sure it never happens again.

Stones can, and do get damaged during manufacturing - rarely thankfully - but it does happen. The key is that we know as early as possible to remedy the situation to the client's benefit.

One time our people totally screwed up a large stone - almost 4cts if I remember. During the final finishing, an errant laser blasted the culet of the diamond. Required a total recut. We were immediately alerted. But that was our diamond...

If we damage a client's stone our policy is to notify them immediately and find a remedy... In this case, we refunded our client.

This has allowed us to have this remarkable pair of earrings, to offer to you. They are so sexy in person.
