Here's a sweet pear shape diamond. It's a bit confused about exactly what color it is.... in a very cool chameleon-like manner.
Due to the fluorescence, in sunlight, the stone looks colorless- or even a bit blue. Indoors, it looks like a light canary diamond. In either case, it also looks huge.
People will easily confuse it with a 3 carat pear shape. Almost 11mm long! In return, the diamond does have some unique light characteristics.
As you move and tilt the stone you get a bit of large facet acting a bit like mirrors- or windows momentarily. Personally, I love the way the diamond looks. The fluorescence never impacts the brilliance or transparency of the diamond. You can see what I'm talking about in the pics/video.
Given the size, and VVS2 pedigree, the price is remarkable.
