We were looking for a very specific lab-grown stone — a faint blue Asscher, as-grown, with a clean IGI report — which is not an easy thing to find. I emailed David with a list of requirements, and he found a candidate the same day and sent photos and a video the next.
Then I asked a lot of questions about where the crystal was grown. David answered patiently and honestly, and never once tried to push me towards something I didn't ask for.
We are overseas and my fiancée could be in New York for one day only. David held the stone off the market for weeks, and Sandra came to the office so my fiancée could see it in person. The stone turned out exactly as described — lovely.
And on top of all that, David's family made a donation to a charity close to our hearts — and kept at it for a whole month when the bank transfers kept failing, until the money got through.
