I've come to respect IGI grading on colorless lab diamonds. Good thing, because as of this writing, igi has announced they will no longer grade Lab Diamonds for color and clarity, again.

igi is still the benchmark in natural fancy colored diamonds.

When it comes to colored Lab diamonds, IGI does not have the ability or depth of knowledge resources to consistently grade colored lab diamonds.

This small niche of "boron blue" diamonds is an example.

This diamond is visibly blue. A lovely shade, and I'm quite sure igi would grade it Fancy Light Blue.

This stone is perfectly cut for this color. Dazzling crushed ice. The brilliance is great.

Totally eye clean- even with the loupe, it's clean.
