The trends lately are all pointing to lab diamonds. And if one is looking for a colorless lab diamond in a traditional shape- there's options a'plenty.

But when someone is looking for a light yellow lab diamond? Big ol' zreo.

Luckily, we've been great friends with natural diamond cutters for close to 30 years... which is where we got this one.

The vast majority of light yellow ovals are cut to "Oval Modified Brilliant" - aka "crushed ice"

This one is remarkable because it's an "Oval Brilliant."

The facets on the bottom of the diamond go directly from the culet to the girdle.

The result is that you get intense bright sparkles from the stone. The center of the stone is way bright.

Another plus... the majority of natural light yellow 2ct Oval Diamonds will look like "Jr" compared to this 10.5mm bad boy!

As we can see- the stone sparkles in a way the really cahes the eye
