2.01ct Fancy Light Yellow VS1 Cushion Cut Diamond Ring
We purchased this diamond, in part, due to its remarkably strong and true color, and lack of fluorescence.
The GIA scale for color tries as hard as possible in logically categorizing colors in diamonds.
In doing so they created certain calibrations. Fancy Light Yellow at one end is very close to Y-Z- and at the other end, it's almost identical to Fancy Yellow. This is that type of yellow. Very close to Fancy Yellow.
I also fell in love with the slightly antique vibe of the cut. Small table - beautiful yellow glitters and sparkles.
The Ring
This ring so perfectly suits the personality of the yellow diamond. I love the way white diamonds look when set in pink gold micro-pave. The parts of the ring that are yellow gold are subtle, but the color of the yellow is strong.
The ring is gorgeous from any angle. The double claw prongs.... to die for!
The finish is meticulous. The double shank feels so nice to the hand.
