Fungible. That's the word of the day.
An example of something fungible is a dollar bill. Any bill printed by the US Treasury is equal to any other bill of the same denomination. Fungible.
Go into your favorite big box store. If they carry diamond studs, they're fungible. A number on a spreadsheet.
These earrings - these diamonds - are NOT fungible.
We took great care in selecting a perfect pair with an impeccable pedigree.
They are graded by GIA. That alone makes them rare in the world of lab Diamonds. GIA no longer grades Lab Diamonds in the same manner as mined diamonds.
It's either pass or fail.
I suppose that a lab diamond's actual specific grade might not make a difference to a lot of buyers.
D, E, and F can be visually identical in the face up position, in some cases.
These are not the earrings for them.
D/VVS2, as graded by GIA is such a wonderful grade.
They are beautifully cut.
The size is Goldilocks for many people. Not too large, nor too small.
Then we had our guys make the 18kt white gold martini earrings for them.
Shaped prongs. Substantial nuts (the part the you push on - it also sounds like a great name for a band).
I'll close by saying that these are definitely priced above other IGI graded offerings. We understand and appreciate why they are worth more.
I know some of our readers will as well.
