The yellow is so pure and bright- you can see it from across the room. Amazing sparkle on the ring itself, but this is truly a remarkable center diamond.

Why are Fancy Intense Yellow Diamonds in Old Mine Brilliant Shape, as rare as chickens teeth? There are a number of reasons. First economic: This stone costs a lot more than a "normal" cushion or radiant in Fancy Intense Yellow. The reason is that a lot more of the rough diamond gets polished away when cutting stones to this shape.

This is a "no excuses" Fancy Intense yellow from so many standpoints.

Color: OMG - it is incredibly yellow - very close to vivid.
Cut: OMG(x2) EX polish and VG symmetry - incredibly rare in any Old Mine Brilliant diamond- much less one of this color. Plus the stone has nice size for the weight.
No fluorescence.
VS2 clarity - totally eye clean.

Remarkable from any standpoint.
