1.90ct O-P VS1 Round Brilliant Diamond Halo Ring
How much I love this stone! We picked it up from one of our buddies that scours pawn shops and such. The diamond looks to be at least 80 years old. I can't say that for sure, but the 50% table is something you just don't see anymore. Which is a shame, because it's AMAZING!
There is very slight abrasion on one spot of the girdle. Which is part of why I think it's old. You would need to use a 10 power loupe and know what to look for to see what I'm talking about. GIA calls this a "bruise" on the report. So if you buy it, you'll know your diamond is sensitive, that's a god thing, right?
The rest of the stone is perfect.

The Ring
The ring is 18kt white gold. Our bench had made it for a 2ct round - special order. The order was subsequently canceled, and no stone had ever been set into it.
This stone fits perfectly. The round brilliant diamonds are all well cut - great sparkle. I love the layout of this halo too. The stones are in groups of two, making them look like ovals - an optical illusion.
Surprise - there is a diamond under the 1.90 on each side. The ring has a wonderful feel to the touch- and it's got good weight.
We got a killer deal on both ring and the setting. As will you, should you buy it. Total one of a kind, and it looks HUGE!
