TWe recently purchased a parcel of brown diamonds and chose two well matched cushions for this ring.

The over all look is stunning!

The ring is hand forged with lovely claw shaped prongs.

The side stones are well cut and have a lot of life to them. They are the perfect compliment to this center stone.

I love a well cut J color with fluorescence!

The fact is, the market places such a premium on “colorlessness” that it’s possible to lose sight of the fact that a fair percentage of folks actually prefer a warmer looking diamond.

In the case of this J color, the florescence tends to make the stone look like an H most of the time anyway.

Sweet cut on this one as well - pillowy cushion with a great crushed ice sparkle. That means an even consistent sparkle from edge to edge, no patterns. The diamond looks bottomless.

VG polish and VG symmetry - nice to see.

The VVS2 clarity grade is also a wonderful attribute.

Then we have the size, .93ct - so close to one carat, but not quite there... giving us even more of a bargain for the overall look and stats of the diamond.
