This is a beautiful cushion modified brilliant diamond. The stone has a lovely shape to it - a nice broad rectangle with lovely rounded corners. The cut on this stone is wonderful. The stone has a great crushed ice look that is perfectly suited to this ring. It has a great mix of small and large flashes of light. It looks amazing in person.
This stone just missed the mark of perfection with regard to color and clarity. It's rated E in color and VVS2 in clarity. Hard to get much closer to D/Internally Flawless.

Of the number of excellent factories who produce our product, one specializes in creating pieces that routinely cost over a million dollars. Incredible design and production techniques at our disposal. We've worked with this factory to find a way to allow us to offer their rings below their normal starting range. Generally, rings made at this factory are more ornate, and start at around $7k, for the semi mount alone. This semi mount is $3500 in platinum. It's perfect- to the most minute level- wonderful to touch.
