1.22ct U-V, Light Brown I1 Round Brilliant Diamond Ring
Here's a very special diamond. The color was the first thing that drew me in. U-V, Light Brown.
We carry a lot of "chocolate brown" diamonds. Truth is, the lighter shades are far more difficult for us to find. So when I see one this color, I am always interested.

The photo above, taken through the pavilion (back side) of the diamond clearly shows the shade.
The amazing aspect to a stone this color brown is that is can have subtle undertones. It is not "overt" but I sense a bit of "rosiness" when look at the stone. Pink gold is game changer on this stone.
In terms of cut, it's been graded EXCELLENT by GIA. The cut looks amazing in person. I would say that the sparkle is a bit different than a colorless stone- which is great. When you consider the goal of a diamond like this- to take advantage ot the slight tint- you don't neccesarily want the same type of cut you'd want in a D color.
GIA also graded the diamond I1 clarity. The imperfections are "benign" . By that I mean they are totally internal, and pose no structural risk whatsoever. They are also not visible to the naked eye.
Cool stone at an amazing price.

14kt White And Pink Gold Ring
This ring is offered at a price hundreds less than if we had made this ring especially for the diamond. The ring was made for another diamond long ago- it was not in use. This diamond fit perfectly. So we set her.
And I'll tell you- I love the results.
I'm not going to tell you the stone looks pink, per se.
I will say the rosy hue I spoke about above is more evident now that we set her.
