1.01ct Fancy Intense Yellow SI2 Cushion Cut Diamond Ring

The first thing that strikes you when you see this stone is the canary yellow color. It is so bright! I was sure it was a Vivid Yellow the first time I saw it. GIA graded it Fancy Intense Yellow, so that's what it is at this point.

They also graded it SI2, and I love this aspect. It is a wonderful SI2 - 100% eye clean. The imperfections are dispersed and there's no negative visual impact. I love the grade because it shaves a couple of grand off the price, with no negative physical ramifications. The stone is also beautifully cut- very close to square.
