I rarely buy oval diamonds - simply because so few are truly exceptional in terms of cut. I look for a graceful model- the outline.
This stone is 1.4:1 ratio- long and lean. The shape is completely organic. There is not a straight line on the outline of the stone.
The facet pattern - Oval Brilliant - is perfectly done for the shape of the stone.
The resultant light performance gives us a lot of large white flashes- so the J color is not all that evident.
There's no negative "bowtie" effect whatsoever.
Totally eye clean SI1 clarity. The combination of J color and SI1 gives us a very reasonable price as well.
