The ruby is a well cut emerald cut - therefore we paired it with some beautifully cut, colorless VS emerald cut diamonds. These stones are bright white and exceptionally clean. They have obvious and brightly flashing steps.

This natural emerald cut ruby is vivid red. The scarlet hue is quite pure - I can't see purple or pink. It is truly difficult to capture the true beauty of this gem with the camera. The stone has a lovely transparency- and sparkle, in all lighting. It's so lively, and so very red.

The Ruby is likely a Thai ruby - purported not to be heated, but we are not guaranteeing that. We do guarantee it's a natural ruby. GIA would take months, and the price of the stone is reasonable, even if it was heated, so we are foregoing GIA on this one.
