1.26ct Fancy Intense Yellow SI1 Cushion Cut Diamond

I love finding stones like this. The attributes are impressive. Of course, first thing is the color. It is a very strong fancy intense yellow – it does not look like a vivid yellow, however it has a totally pure and bright ayellow color – a true canary.

Then, of course, the other first thing is the cut: and in that regard – the stone is a winner. Great sparkle and brilliance from one edge of the stone to the other. Also, it's almost perfectly square. The faint fluorescence is a total non-issue – there is no effect on the stone.

The diamond was graded SI1 by GIA, but as you can see the imperfection is impossible to make out in hi-def close ups. In real life you can't see it either. That aspect right there saves you a couple grand on this stone.
