2.15ct U-V VS2 Pear Shape Diamond

This is just a great-looking stone by any standard. The cut is amazing. I say that because I love pear-shaped diamonds when they have an organic outline to them. There's not a straight line on this diamond. That's what I like to see on the outline of a pear-shaped. Then there's the fact that the pair modified brilliant cut allowed the cutter to provide bright, even sparkle and color across the diamond.

Speaking of the color, GIA graded this diamond U-V natural light yellow. It's lovely light lemon yellow. There's very little difference between W-X, Y-Z and U-V. All are light yellow. Suffice it to say, this diamond has a lovely light lemon yellow color. If we set this diamond for you, it's going to pick up a lot of canary yellow.

The diamond is a totally eye clean VS2 clarity. You will notice that the diamond is priced slightly higher than cushion or radiant cut diamonds of the same grade in the same size. That's because pear-shaped diamonds like this are more rare. Having said that, it's still a great price for a stone the size, this will cut, and this clean.
