2.27ct Y-Z VS2 Cushion Cut Double Halo Diamond Ring
Here is a drop dead gorgeous cushion in a very desirable and large size.
Cut?
Yes it is.
Seriously, the cut is amazing. Amazing brilliance and great size for its weight.
Tremendously pleasing shape - to me anyway, this is clearly a personal matter. The type of brilliance works extremely well with the color.
Speaking of color, its a super strong Y-Z- virtually indistinguishable from the average Fancy Light Yellow as graded by GIA. VS1 clarity.
The Ring
This is a "wowza!" kind of piece.
It is sizable, stretching 13.5mm up and down the finger and 12.5mm across. In terms of color, the 2.27 looks like a Fancy Yellow in it's new home.
The ring is perfectly shaped to accept the lovely canary cushion diamond. Commensurate with the impressive size fo the ring, we used a 2.3mm shank. So it's a bit beefier than some of the most delicate models.
I love the proportions of the wires. The pave is meticulously artful throughout. A dazzling ring.
