It is true that many diamonds exhibit a "bow tie"
Here's an example of a stone that has no bowtie whatsoever. The cut is so very nice - a slightly "pudgy" shape, with amazing sparkle.
That was one of the first things I noticed, but not the very first thing.
The color - it's so pretty! I was sure it was Fancy Light Yellow till I looked at the GIA - boy was I surprised.
Might I add, I was pleasantly surprised once I looked at the price. If GIA had called it Fancy Light Yellow, we'd be looking at about 30% more.
It's an SI1, and there again a super nice SI1 with it being totally eye clean.
Likely we'll set this puppy soon enough, but for now it's available loose.
