SOLD...2.58ct I (Blue) VVS2 Marquise Lab Grown Diamond R9800

Here's a sweet example of a faint blue HPHT diamond. The diamond is as grown- no post growth treatment.

Due to (what I believe to be uncontrolled) boron in the growth chamber, the rough diamond crystal turns faint blue.

In this case, it's really attractive. it also lowers the price - which you have to love! Either the diamond looks colorless - or a sweet, faint blue.

The cut - wow - it's nice. There's no detrimental bowtie. That is not to say the middle of the diamond has the same sort of light performance as the middle - it can't look the same at the tips and in the middle because of the way the angles and facets work.

It's very difficult to capture in pics - I think mine do a pretty pretty good job.

IGI graded the stone VVS2, it's durn clean!!

Did I mention large? Almost 14mm. I really love the stone in person.
