2.59ct Y-Z VS1 Radiant Cut Three Stone Diamond RingWe are very lucky in that NYC is one of the world's most active diamond trading centers when it comes to larger stones. This stone had just come on the market - and we were fortunate in being among the first dealers to get the chance to buy it. We made sure we were the last dealer that cutter offered it to :) It is a dynamite stone - instantly captivated me. Great size for its weight - just a really beautiful cut - perfectly laid out. EX/EX polish and symmetry - a nice bonus. The color is very strong for Y-Z. Perfectly eye clean VS1. If this stone was just a hair more yellow - and had been graded Fancy Light Yellow the stone would be at least another $3k Makes this stone a great value considering how good it looks. The Ring We chose a "super sized" pair of collection colorless bullet diamonds. They are step cut - and feature a generous corners at both ends. They behave almost like triangular Asscher Cuts. Our "Uber" shop did the usual (for them), exceptional design and execution. Details make the ring. Things like stone placement and angle. There is no gap between the stones - and they are perfectly angled down your finger for comfort and beauty. The prongs are claws made from hand forged wires. At the outside edge, there's no "V" tip - rather a smoother single support for the stone - which is crafted from thicker metal. This provides an elegant, artistically correct element - with great ergonomics - they are not catchy like most "V" tip prongs. The finishing is immaculate as well. The center stone's color is strong and appealingly yellow. The ring is very impressive in size as well. The hand model in the photos below is size 4.75 The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring you will receive.
