I love the design of this ring.
There is absolutely nothing extra on it.
The diamond is securely cradled low. Comfortable.
The little donut on the bottom echoes the shape of the stone. This is the ultimate for stability. It does mean a wedding band will not fit flush.
There are settings with a flat side... but this is the lowest and most stable. Especially for diamonds 2carat and larger.
The lovely Asscher cut we used for this ring is a star. Rainbow flashes. Steps glittering icy white totally colorless and perfectly crystal.
I love the way it's cut.
