This setting is just exquisite!
What we call "compass set" where the prongs are placed on the tops and sides versus the corners of the diamond.
The prongs are beautifully claw shaped and done in platinum.
The shank in 18k yellow gold and will allow most straight wedding bands to sit flush.

As an Emerald Cut lover...I can tell you from Experience, it doesn't take an expert to recognize and amazing cut.
The diamond has such an amazing cut. Move it just a little bit and it flashes a rainbow!
The stone looks colorless face up. In terms of clarity...it's possible a really sharp eyed person could pick out the tiny crystal. Those of us with normal vision ( and anyone over 40) wouldn't be able to spot it.
This shape is a favorite of mine - of course that's personal - I can say that this LxW ratio looks lovely in a ring.
