.40ct Fancy Light Purplish Pink Heart Shape Diamond Halo Ring

Here is an incredible purple pink stone. The stone has a "pure" grade. Purple is not considered a detractor in any way in a pink diamond such as brown or orange might be. In fact, purple is quite desirable in diamonds.

This particular heart-shaped diamond has a very pleasing blend of purpleish pink. The color is truly sensational.

Of course we know that cut is very important in any diamond. In this particular case the diamond has a gorgeous, and distinct heart shape. The shape itself is organic and flowing.

In terms of the way the diamond handles the light, and the quality of the cut – also excellent. The stone has stunning scintillation and it is very lively. It also has a good size for its weight.

GIA graded the diamond SI2 clarity.

The nature of the clarity characteristics is that there is a number of small imperfections, and they are widely dispersed. This makes them impossible to spot naked eye.

Overall, it is an incredibly desirable stone. I was very happy that we got our hands on it. We got it directly from the cutter at a very good price.
