The ring we've crafted for this Modern Antique Diamond is solid platinum - you can feel the weight - 12.8grams.
The texture of the metal feels so nice to the touch. The ring is 6.2mm wide at the top, tapering to 4mm at the palm.

The diamond itself is really the star of this show. It was cut right here in NYC. The design is inspired by antique diamonds. Large facets on the bottom of the diamond produce large, bright flashes. It's so darn easy to induce a rainbow effect (fire)
The color is no issue - the stone generally reads as colorless. The photos and video really show the color more than in real life.
Still, if you are color sensitive and mind the possibility of a slight tint - it's probably not the ring for you.
I can see the tiny specks causing the GIA SI1 clarity rating in these close-up pictures, but in real life it's not possible to pick it out.
