.48ct W-X VS1 Oval Diamond

Here is a really cool oval brilliant diamond. We purchased the diamond as part of a large parcel fancy colored diamonds. I am kind of shocked that GIA did not make note of the light brown hue in this diamond. Hey, no one's perfect.

The stone is beautifully cut – it has a lovely shape. The photos make look like there is a "bowtie". However, in person, the stone is very bright through the middle section. It is a very clean diamond at VS1.
