5.01ct W-X VS2 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo Ring
We got an amazing deal on this massive 5ct Light Yellow- but it's never the price that will draw me to a stone. In this case, the color and cut combined to draw me in immediately.
GIA gave the diamond W-X color. It looks to me like they were a bit strict- it could easily have gone Y-Z.
In terms of cut, it is all sparkle. Visually, the diamond is considered square. The size is as you' ould expect from a five carat diamond, impressive.
Totally eye clean VS2.No Fluorescence. (that is a big plus).
The Ring
We had our Uber guys go all out with a totally hand forged bright cut pavé halo. This is such a cool design because you get the best of angular as well as softer lines.
The outer halo is actually octagonal, and straight edged while the inside is a soft curved shape perfectly cradling the organic shape of the cushion diamond. Icy white, super well cut diamonds used exclusively.
Hand forged 1.9mm tubular shank with "cut down" pavé.
This ring is a show stopper!
