.79ct I SI2 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo Ring
This stone hits such a sweet spot. In terms of size, very nice, near one carat. In terms of color, a little bit of a softer white "I color", but with that Medium Blue Fluorescence sometimes the stone looks quite a bit whiter. There is no negative whatsoever with the fluorescence in this particular diamond.
Perfectly eye clean SI2 - a few tiny white crystals and clouds combine to set the grade. I picked the stone because of all the factors above, combined with the very sweet cut.
Almost square, nice rounded corners and a very even brilliance. It is a modern cushion, so it's also very sparkly!
All this adds up to a lovely stone, and also at a very attractive price.
The Ring
The pink stones work so incredibly well here - they really make an impression against the colorless center.
The beauty of hand forged workmanship to totally evident in this piece. Although the look is delicate, the ring is built to stand the test of time - and we'll take care of it if it ever needs anything.
