2.64ct Fancy Dark Orangy Brown Cushion Cut Diamond Ring

We all make mistakes, right? This ring was made for a different stone - it was not until we finished that we realized our client wanted an entirely different style. That left us with a gorgeous Uber ring, with no center diamond. It's a full on top of the line model - with our normally awesome super well cut pavé. The shank is 1.75mm.

I can tell you from long experience, it is much harder to find a diamond to fit a ring, than it is to make a ring to fit a diamond. So the ring sat here for about a year till happenstance delivered this beauty to our door.

We deal in a lot of natural brown diamonds. This was just a perfect accident of nature. The stone was among a parcel of stones, we got a killer deal on it. It was the largest stone in the parcel.

We bought the stone and sent her off to GIA with a nice result.

The Ring

The color is so very "thick" and deep. As you move the ring the stone kicks back these remarkable orangey flashes. GIA graded the stone SI1 clarity. The diamond is totally eye clean

There is a tremendous presence - the ring is pretty large.
