2.02ct K SI2 Emerald Cut Split Diamond Halo RingCan an SI2 Emerald Cut be eye clean? It might be logical to assume no, but diamonds are not always logical. True, many SI2 emerald cuts will not be eye clean, however this is one that defies the odds (for most people). I'm sure the sharpest eyed person may be able to spot the imperfection, yet more people won't. The great thing about these photos is that they allow you to see why the diamond is graded SI2. There's no distinct imperfection- it's more like a faint cloud. Another "fact" you may read about diamonds is that a K color Emerald Cut will show a lot of color. That is simply not true in every case. Again, perception comes into play, as well as the light under which you view the ring. However, I will say that its harder to see the tint as opposed to easier. The gorgeous 18kt gold ring probably helps a lot in this regard. The Ring We used Natural Pink Diamonds around the center stone - they look amazing. While they do not make the emerald cut look pink, they probably help in making it look white. It is a great cut - regal, tall shape that shows its steps beautifully. The ring is a hand forged model - lovely claw prongs and tubular split shank. An undeniable positive aspect of K/SI2 as a grade is the price - tremendous value here - sold by a company that stands by its products in the long term. The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring that you will receive. Guides Related to Diamonds Fancy Colored Diamond Buying Guide How much will my new diamond appraise for?
