1.07ct K VVS2 Cushion Cut Diamond RingWe are fortunate enough to be near some of the best and largest cutters operating in New York City. Out of about 150 cushion diamonds between 1-2 cts and J-K in color, we were able to select 9 stones that are simply amazing. This diamond has a total crushed ice appearance. When I say that, I mean it has a total lack of any pattern inside the diamond. As opposed to some other cushions that take on a more antique vibe due to larger flashes of light coming from the center, this one is consistent in tiny flashed throughout. This effect is extremely brilliant! The medium blue fluorescence really helps to give you a very bright and white looking stone - and VVS2 VG/VG is lovely for the pedigree. The Ring Does a diamond pick up color from the surrounding metal. Try to convince this K color that it doesn't! We set this lovely diamond into a handmade pink gold solitaire setting that seems to have literally transformed the diamond. Substantial Hand Forged shank measures 2.5mm. Beautiful shaped prongs, this is a comfortable and durable piece for the long run. I do not want the say the diamond is "all out pink" - but the hint is there...
