This 2.02ct Fancy Yellow Cushion Diamond is one of those modern cushions with somewhat "antique" inspiration. The photos give you the idea, but of course, do not do it justice as compared to real life. 

I actually like the fact that the photo above is slightly out of focus- as it somehow emulates how the stone looks in person. No matter how good your eyes, you simply can't define the shape of the facets the same way you can looking at a super close up photo. Of course this one happens to look awesome even in the in focus pictures. The diamond is quite clean- VS for sure- and it's totally eye clean.

Fluorescence creates some interesting effects in natural Fancy Yellow diamonds, such as this one. In normal room lighting, this characteristic can actually make a stone look darker- in other words,  more yellow. This stone is quite yellow in person, as in the photos.

 The Ring

 This is a stunning ring from any angle. The sweep of the prongs for example. The yellow gold arches ever so gracefully upward to become the lovely double claw prongs. The small round diamonds are extremely well cut with tons of life. note the "surprise diamonds" running between the prongs set into the yellow gold.

There's diamonds practically everywhere. Certainly everywhere you'll see when wearing the ring. The intricate micro pave setting work is immaculate.

Ya gotta love the beautiful shaped prongs.
