Above is a "box" of diamonds. We did not buy all of them....however we DID buy more than half. These are all "unusual diamonds". Most were faint yellow. This one, number 9 in the shot above- is the deepest color of the bunch. One thing all the diamonds in the box share, is the price per carat. Let me think of a good way to describe the price.............FREAKIN' CHEAP! Seriously, stones of this color are among the least costly of all fine diamonds. The brown in this one is why it's in the box. If it was this deep in color- but pure yellow, the price would be at least triple.
This diamond has tremendous personality. The fluorescence gives it somewhat of a "split personality" Sometimes looking Yellow, sometimes brown. The diamond is an I1- but the imperfections inside are quite amiable- they are deep down in the stone, and the color itself completely hides the imperfections in real life. I can see them ion some of the photos- including the one below. Regardless the stone has a gajillion bits of light bouncing back at you.

The ultra close up photos of the ring shows the high quality standards we enforce. All the small diamonds have been meticulously selected for fine cut. Then we make sure to set them immaculately. No rough edges. The ring may have been worn before, but you will never be able to tell when you open the box. The previous owner truly hated to part with the ring- she loved "Dexter" very much and hopes he gets a good home.
In terms of cut, this amazing Fancy Color diamond scores really well. There is no grading system for the cut of a colorless Radiant Diamond- much less an Yellow one, like our 1.79carat On the subject of cut, we never compromise.
