Halo Earrings featuring Rich Blue Asscher Cut
Sapphires of 2.41 total weight
ITEM #R2214
As photographed prior to setting
Here's an extremely rare pair of Asscher Cut, Ceylon Blue Sapphires. You just don't see this stuff every day. The color is so very rich. To me, a rich blue sapphire should have no purple.
When we first got them, we did consider making a three stone ring. They are shown below next to our 2.17 K/VVS2. Ultimately we decided that it would just be too wide....
So into the shop for some serious custom made "Halo" Earrings they went.....and here they are!

How much will
my new diamond appraise for?
A truly elegant pair, the
design is a "Shepard Staff". There's no clasp, gravity holds them on your
ears.
The 50 diamonds are really
well cut examples of smaller, "full cut diamonds".
We figure, if you're
putting such amazing sapphires into a piece, why scrimp on the diamonds
or design and setting work?
We don't try to make the
earrings less expensive by cutting any corners whatsoever in the
quality.
We have a small office,
and employ other measures to keep our costs well below that of
traditional jewelry sellers.

These stones possess an almost diamond-like liveliness..
In the photo on the right, you can see what I'm talking about. The Sapphire on the left is quite a nice one. Believe it or not, in this particular case, the Sapphire on the left had a higher price than the stone on the right- which is the stone I chose. It's making it's new owner very happy as you read this. Sparkle is the type of Sapphires, Rubies, and Emeralds we carry. Our stones are all NATURAL - including these awesome Asscher Sapphires. 7Many Natural Sapphires, including these, are heating during the cutting and finishing process.
