Pear-shaped Diamond
GIA Report
Halo Diamond Ring
Item #R2452
ALL photos and movie are of the exact diamond you will receive. A lovely faint yellow pear shape that will fool you with its color
This is actually a very unusual Diamond. It is not the rarity of white diamonds that makes them more expensive... this diamond is pretty rare itself. What makes a white diamond, or a totally colorless diamond cost exponentially more than this one is just market forces.
If we compare two cars, a Ferrari, and a Toyota, the Italian one is going to cost a lot more. But there's a lot of reasons for this. If you happen to like the color of this diamond as much as a D color diamond, it will be like getting a Ferrari at the Toyota price.
As you can see, the color is pretty deceptive. I am telling you that this diamond has a slight tint , but it doesn't seem to show in a lot of these photos. Sometimes the color is visible, other times not so much There are a lot of reasons for this. One of the main reasons this diamond is so breathtaking, is the amazing cut. Obviously the shape is beautiful organic and totally curvy. What may not be so obvious, is that this diamond looks like a three carat diamond, while weighing only two. It does this with no cost to the amazing sparkle.
We purchased the diamond from the cutter with no GIA report. We sent the diamond to GIA. In terms of clarity, there's not much to speak about, its an eye clean diamond.
The ONLY reason for the price is the color... which is not all that apparent. Maybe you can see it more easily in these photos below.
THE RING This is quite an elaborate affair!
The center boulder must be important, because it's tightly surrounded by it's little round diamond bodyguards.
There's two levels of diamond studded support for this substantial center diamond.
Then the diamonds continue on down the side of your finger
As you can see in the photo below, the thing looks HUGE for a 2.00cart diamond.
