.56ct Fancy Brown-Yellow VS2 Cushion Cut Diamond

This cushion diamond is unique for so many reasons. The color is remarkable. GIA graded it Fancy Brown-Yellow, but it's far more than that. Because the stone is a bit lighter it definitely changes more when exposed to different lighting. So it's really hard to define Sometimes it almost reminds me of the color of a smokey topaz. But it's bright. Sparkly. After all it's a diamond.

I loved the color when I saw the diamond, but the cut is what really got me. The diamond has large facets, lending an antique vibe to the stone.

The depth of the diamond, at 60% means that there is a lot of visual size for the weight. At arms length, the cut and sparkle combine with the color and the stone is noticeable.

When you loupe the diamond you'll be amazed how clean it is - especially if you're familiar with natural brown diamonds - many of which are more imperfect. I graded the diamond VS2 due to a tiny crystal on the back- which took me about 60 seconds of close examination at 10X to find.
