Precision Cut .87ct Cushion Cut Chrome Tourmaline and Diamond Necklace
We are now working with master gemstone cutter Roger Dery. This is a precision cut stone, cut by Roger. He is a cutter who sources much of the rough at the actual mines. This means we get accurate origin info as well as if a stone was treated or not.
This is a lovely chrome tourmaline. It was bought in the rough in Tanzania during 2004. The cut on this stone is beautiful. A nice rectangle with slightly bowed sides. The color is a great deep shade of green, yet the stone has a lot of life to it!
The stone is natural, and has not been treated in any way.
The Necklace
We used 18kt white gold, and custom made a super delicate halo to surround this emerald like gem.
Then we suspended it from a high quality, 16 inch 18kt white gold chain. For good measure we bezel set four .05ct diamonds - which is a generous size for this application and they look great.
I love this stone in this setting......
