We are now working with master gemstone cutter Roger Dery. This is a precision cut stone, cut by Roger. He is a cutter who sources much of the rough at the actual mines. This means we get accurate origin info as well as if a stone was treated or not. Here is an exceptional Cushion Cut Chrome Tourmaline. The origin of this stone is Tanzania. Chrome tourmalines differ from regular green tourmalines due to the presence of chromium - which is responsible for the lovely deep shade of green. Chrome tourmalines are considered the most valuable of all green tourmalines out there. In dim lighting this stone still glows with a lot of green and white flashes. The stone is natural, and has not been treated in any way.
The Ring This lovely stone was set into a beautiful split shank halo ring. Now set, the Chrome Tourmaline has come to love and looks even more amazing than before. The halo accents the shape of the stone wonderfully. The lines of this ring are beautiful. There is a lovely contour to the ring. It has a very fluid look where the split shank meets the halo.
