Here is a really well cut Cushion Modified Brilliant Diamond.

Why do I say it is well cut?

Well, when looking at it there is a lovely balance of contrast and brilliance.

I would not call it a "crushed Ice" look, rather a modern cushion that has a lot of sparkle, and some patterning - which creates contrast.

I happen to love the outline, but of course that is a taste based issue. The photos and video will help you to know if you share my love for it.

I also love he cut due to the size for the weight. It has a nice size for a one carat cushion.

VG/VG in both polish and symmetry is rather rare in cushion diamonds

The strong blue fluorescence is a positive aspect in this case, though that is not always the case. Here, it makes a J color look like a G color much of the time - without a hint of anything dull.

Also the price of a J is far less than the price of a G.
