.62ct J SI1 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo RingWe are really lucky in that we get to see a lot of new and different cuts all the time. I was very excited when the cutter brought over a batch of cushion diamonds, in the sizes and colors that we like to buy. The stones are really will cut. They have small tables, and beautiful girdles. This stone faces up beautifully and has a lot of dazzling sparkle. The Ring This is a beautiful, hand forged 18karat white and pink gold ring. This method of manufacturing allows us to use much smaller parts. For example, the shank of this ring is 1.9 mm wire. Because it is made from wire, it is extremely strong and resistant to bending. Once we cut the top part down and set the diamond into it, you can't even see the metal. It's like a gorgeous row of diamonds running down your finger. The guys did a great job with the supports holding up the halo. They set the center diamond really low down. This makes for a graceful and comfortable ring to wear. We've crafted the top halo part out of 18karat pink gold and set it with light pink diamonds. A lovely result ensued. The center diamond looks great, and the ring is totally unique.
