This lovely diamond is here courtesy of our trade up policy. It was first sold in 2006- and we're offering it for the same price today. The cut is lovely- a lot of sparkle- and great size for it's weight. You could even mistake it for a 1.3ct. The color is beautiful. I firmly believe that it's a mistake to classify this as a "non fancy " color. The next darker shade is called "Fancy Light Yellow" - however to my eye , this is a fancy colored diamond. It's also one of the lowest price colors. Doesn't look like it.
The clarity is SI1- again, my experience is that there's great misunderstanding regarding diamond clarity grading. The fact that this is an SI1 has no bearing whatsoever on the stone's brilliance. The imperfection, such as it is, is very difficult to spot- even with a loupe. There's no way to see the imperfection naked eye. The stone will look great in a ring- it's got that classic shape.
