This is a beautiful hand made diamond solitaire ring. At the center of the ring is a stunning cushion cut diamond. The stone has a lovely shape to it - a broad rectangle that looks nearly square with softly rounded corners. The cut on this stone fantastic. It is a beautiful bucket of crushed ice with edge to edge sparkle. The color on this stone has been graded W-X, Natural Light Yellow. What does this mean? This stone is by no means "white" in color. It is decidedly yellow, albeit a softer shade. Now set, this stone looks even more vibrant and yellow than before. Stones of this shade really do look very yellow once set. The clarity is a VS2. The Ring This is a gorgeous hand forged platinum and 18Karat yellow gold ring. The shank has perfect proportions for the center diamond - not too delicate yet not too hefty. Although the style is simple, manufacturing it is quite difficult. The quality on this ring is amazing. It took many hours to hand forge the shank alone. The 18K yellow gold prongs were artfully created with a lovely claw shape to them. As they swoop down towards the shank, they morph into petals of a flower. This ring is elegant and graceful!
