1.18ct F/I1 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo Ring

This is a stunning cushion cut diamond. The overall shape of this stone is lovely. It is a nice rectangle with softly rounded corners. The cut is very strong from a sparkle standpoint. If you love vintage cuts, this one is likely to appeal to you. It has a lot of broad flashes of light. A great "chunky" look to it.

This diamond was graded F in color, which means you are getting a colorless diamond. The stone is very bright and "white" in color.

The Ring

I cannot tell you how much this stone has improved in the setting.

I loved the stone before, but now that it has been set... wow!

I have tried as hard as I can to see the imperfection, with my naked eyes. I have done this under a diamond grading lamp - which is pretty bright.

I cannot see it!

That does not mean someone with better eye might not, but the imperfection is by no means obvious - even to a very sharp eyed person.

Part of this is a function of age - as we age, we cannot focus the same way we could before age 40. For me, that has not diminished the enjoyment of gems.
