It is hard to say enough great things about this stone. The shape is a beautiful rectangle with lovely rounded edges to it. The cut is wonderful - amazing crushed ice sparkle.

The color on this diamond is very strong for a Fancy Intense Yellow. In fact we have seen vivid yellows that somehow seemed less "canary" than this screamer. The clarity on this stone is SI1. You can see the tiny carbon spot in some of the photos. In real life, this is not visible. The clarity really does account for a a nice savings - at least $5,000 less than a stone of this color in a VS1.

The Ring

This is a stunning ring. This ring is created by jewelers, setters and polishers, specializing in micro-setting diamonds. They are the very finest in the business - and it shows!

Where is this ring made?

This ring was manufactured in New York City.

To achieve these results, you need a combination of things. A highly skilled workforce is only the starting point. Specialized tools are required. The term "microset" is rarely used accurately. Below, you can see a few workbenches, in the immaculate workspace. Each is equipped with a microscope.

The methods used for welding involve working in as sterile an environment as possible- while focusing acutely on specific areas using a microscope.

After the wires have been crafted into shape, the ring looks like this

The the wires are "cut down" to allow the micro-setting.
