This is a very well cut diamond. Here's why I say this: 1) It's got great sparkle and life. In all lighting conditions. 2) The brilliance is spread over the entire stone 3) The stone is great shape, with bold corners, that I personally, love. 4) THis is an important one- it looks like a 3 carat stone.
This stone so easily could have gotten a VS2 from GIA- I know for a fact the cutter was furious. It's understandable as the difference in price is somewhere round $2000 per carat, or about $4500 on this stone!
The stone is what we used to call a "Premier" back in the days when I was learning to grade diamonds at Harry Winston. Can you see the slight blue tint? .
