Here's a "drop dead gorgeous" 3 carat Natural Fancy Yellow Radiant Diamond. Thee color, as you can see, is strong. The grade of "Fancy Yellow" bridges the gap between "Fancy Light Yellow" and "Fancy Intense Yellow"

The gap between Fancy Light and fancy yellow is fairly wide.

A stone that "just made" Fancy Yellow is close to Fancy Light Yellow. A stone "that just missed" intense yellow can be noticeably more yellow than the fist stone.

Dealers here in New York use a 1-10 system to classify the color grade.

A 10 looks just like an intense. A 1 looks quite a bit like Fancy Light Yellow.

This stone is a solid 7. Not that far from an Intense Yellow. The stone has no fluorescence.

 The stone is beautifully cut. It's a strong rectangular shape that looks amazing in rings. The stone is cut for brilliance which it has in spades. Sometimes I prefer the slightly out of focus photos that come out of the camera.

The photo below allows us to see the individual facets and the lovely patterns they make. In person, live, it's not possible to see any individual facets- they are "obliterated by sparkle" Like a bucket of crushed lemon ice.

Also true of the tiny carbon spot- which I can see in some of these photos- no way I can see that spot naked eye- either through the top or trying to spot it thru the back or sides. It's an eye clean SI1

The stone is offered loose. We have extensive experience setting yellow diamonds- the setting is extremely important to the end result.

I can picture this stone looking amazing in a large 3 stone ring, flanked by trilliants or traps.
