Below is a parcel of diamonds we purchased from the cutter. They are special, as a group as all are orange, to some degree. The color orange is pretty rare in diamonds.
GIA graded the diamond "Fancy Vivid Yellow Orange". Orange is the main color, with Yellow a strong modifier. Very pretty and unique color The level of intensity, combined with unique hue make this stone eye catching. The sparkle is amazing. Especially considering the depth of color.
The GIA report is for color only- we graded the diamond SI2 clarity due to feather deep with in the diamond. You'd have to look from behind, and tilt the diamond exactly the right way to see The diamond is totally eye clean from the top. As you can see in the photos- this color is quite complex and shows different hues in different lighting. Diamond Color Chart for Orange diamonds A note about photographing diamonds: The main goal we have is to most realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos, and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically represent the lightest and darkest face of the diamond.
